The expectation is that the 8000 new debit cards will be distributed by May 30

The replacement of the financial aid debit cards is in its fourth week. To date, about 2,600 Alelo debit cards have been delivered. Alelo is the new operator responsible for the payment of the benefits, before handled by Policard.

According to the Financial Aid Program Coordinator, Gustavo Patrício, the deliveries have had positive reactions from the beneficiaries. The process is on schedule and the card holders have a good understanding of the advantages of the new card operator.

So far, about 2,600 Alelo debit cards have been delivered to the beneficiaries.

“For this, we have made periodic evaluations and adopted continuous improvement procedures. In the first month, delivery was only done door to door, but, as of April, they can also be picked up at the service points of the Renova Foundation, by appointment”, explains Gustavo.

Currently, the In Haus team, responsible for distributing the debit cards, is making prior telephone contact with those who are already receiving the benefit, by scheduling a visit.
