During a meeting of the Caratinga River Basin Committee (CBH Caratinga) – sub-basin of the Doce River – representatives of the Renova Foundation presented a report to the communities with all the recovery activities being carried out along the Doce River Basin, including actions associated with land use and assistance to people.
The event was held at the end of May, at the Santo Antônio do Anta Town Hall. “The Foundation was invited by the Basin Committee itself to participate in this meeting, which reinforces the trust that is being established in our work. In addition to talking about what we are doing, it was an opportunity to listen to people and what they have to contribute to our actions”, said Allan Suhett, a socio-environmental actions analyst of the Renova Foundation.
