Created to connect professionals looking for a job with companies in need of workers, Recoloca Rio Doce is now one of the tools used by Sine Mariana. The objective is for the platform to support Sine in listing job opportunities, registering resumes and promoting training for the job market. The partnership kicked off in April, expanding the possibilities of affected professionals to get back into the job market and improve their skills. In addition, the platform helps Renova’s supplier companies to reach the local hiring target of 70%, as established by the Mariana Agreement.
Until March of this year, 29 professionals were hired in Mariana and Barra Longa through Recoloca Rio Doce. Currently, there are over 800 resumes and over 300 job openings listed.
Roberto Ruggeri, Economy and Innovation analyst at the Renova Foundation, highlights the importance of this partnership for the population of the city and region: “Recoloca Rio Doce will support Sine in Mariana, mainly with professional qualification. Through our contents and online courses, those interested will receive tips on how to participate in selection processes, which will increase their chances of finding a job.”
Platform
Created this year and developed in partnership with Kienbaum Consultancy, the Recoloca Rio Doce platform offers courses for the job market, such as training and video classes on how to build a resume.
All resumes are exclusively available in the tool in order to increase the scope and access to job opportunities, since the companies’ needs are listed to guide candidates according to the demands of each project. Therefore, printed documents received by employees and partners are not considered in the selection process.
Due to the pandemic, the offices of the Renova Foundation are closed.
