Installation has a capacity of about 570 thousand liters (150,578 gallons) per hour

Recently delivered to the Municipality of Colatina (ES), the Pancas River Pipeline is already playing an important role in the water supply of the population. With a capacity of about 570 thousand liters (150,578 gallons) per hour, the structure was tested by operation teams of the Renova Foundation and by the Environment and Environmental Sanitation Service of Colatina (Sancar) as a possible alternative to reduce the turbidity of the water withdrawn from the Doce River.

The water of the two rivers were mixed to reduce the required coagulant amount during the treatment. Preliminary tests indicate that this combination may benefit the treatment system, technically and economically, ensuring the quality of the water distributed by Sanear to the residents.
