24 – IMPLEMENTATION OF TAILINGS RETENTION AND TREATMENT SYSTEMS IN IMPACTED RIVERS
To construct and operate sediment containment structures for the storage of the materials removed from the river channels and their surroundings.

Recovery of vegetation, regularization of gutters and margins of impacted rivers and measures to control erosion.
26 – Recovery of permanent preservation areas (PPAs)
Recovery of degraded PPAs in Rio Doce and its tributaries, defined as sources of supply, including the reforestation of 10,000 hectares and the rehabilitation of over 30,000 hectares.
